Join the Member Program Committee for Designing Cities 2027

Want to shape the content at Designing Cities 2027? NACTO is looking for 15 people employed at our member agencies to join our Member Program Committee.

What Does the Member Program Committee Do?

Each committee member brings their unique perspective to a session at the conference. Committee members will each plan and organize one 75-minute peer session with the support of NACTO staff and other committee members. This includes identifying the session topic, planning the session format, inviting speakers from NACTO member agencies, and moderating or speaking during the session.

Committee members engage in a collaborative, mutually supportive planning process facilitated by NACTO staff. They meet monthly with NACTO and their peers on the committee and have access to office hours, planning templates, and other tools to ensure their success.

Why Join the Committee?

Committee members will connect with 14 other transportation professionals from NACTO member agencies; learn more about projects, policies, and practices in other cities; and work with NACTO staff to develop a peer session that is relevant to the broad and diverse range of our members.

In return for their time and work, committee members receive a complimentary conference registration to attend the 2027 NACTO Designing Cities Conference.

Friday, September 11: Application deadline. Apply using the form below by 11:59 p.m. ET to be considered. Late submissions will not be considered. 

Tuesday, October 6: Member Program Committee members will be informed of their selection.
