The National Association of City Transportation Officials (NACTO) is an association of more than 100 North American cities and transit agencies that exchange transportation ideas, insights, and practices and cooperatively approach national transportation issues. The organization champions bold, people-first urban transportation by mobilizing a network of cities and transit agencies.

The Nashville Department of Transportation and Multimodal Infrastructure (NDOT) builds and manages the transportation network in Nashville, Tennessee, and Davidson County. Their work includes building and maintaining sidewalks, bike lanes, multiuse paths, and roads; managing traffic signs, markings, and signals; parking enforcement; and overseeing the City's Vision Zero initiative.
